INTERLEDGER FOUNDATION

The interledger foundation advances digital financial inclusion by developing and promoting the interledger protocol (ilp), a currency-agnostic payments network that broadens diversity and access in the technology ecosystem. During the tax year, the foundation hosted a global interledger summit that convened developers, activists, and entrepreneurs to advance the foundation's mission and build collaborative momentum. The foundation significantly expanded its public profile, securing coverage in 70 media outlets including leading financial and technology publications, generating 10 million media impressions globally. Technical achievements included advancing open payments and web monetization products, expanding the network to 3 active nodes running interledger and open payments infrastructure, and comprehensive improvements to technical documentation. The foundation also initiated development of the first interledger card offering and expanded community engagement efforts.
