During fy24, international cardiac alliance directly facilitated surgery for 52 patients, all of whom traveled to other countries for life-saving open heart surgeries and/or catheter interventions.
Program 2
$60KDiagnosis, screening, and follow-up. Ica performs outpatient cardiology clinics at multiple sites throughout haiti and bolivia for patients who need initial diagnosis, check-up, and/or post-operative follow-up. In addition, ica currently employs haiti's only full-time cardiac echocardiographer, who sees patients on a daily basis. During the fiscal year, ica facilitated the diagnosis and/or outpatient follow-up of nearly 1000 patients.
