Exploratory peru trip project: jbq charitable foundation sponsored exploratory trips to lima, el carmen, iquitos and cuzco peru for 3 professors and 1 teacher from june 15, 2025 - july 19, 2025. Some expenses for this trip were disbursed in the fiscal 2024-2025 year, such as airfares, and a partial teacher stipend, the balances to be paid upon completion of the trip activities. These exploratory trips were conducted to establish educational networking and a feasibility study with a view to professors conducting faculty-led study abroad programs in the academic year 2026-2027. As part of this program, jbq charitable foundation sponsored service-learning projects that could be replicated on study abroad. The teacher participating in the project gave extensive feedback from a teacher's perspective on the feasibility and practicality of activities and suggestions for the future trips. The total amount disbursed in the 2024-2025 fiscal year was $5,401.11
