Project s.a.r.a.h. Is the statewide domestic violence and sexual abuse program for the jewish community. Program services include trauma-informed, evidence-based counseling, case management, legal advocacy, emergency housing, and prevention workshops. While services are available to anyone regardless of religious affiliation, grant funds are dedicated to the provision of care to members of the orthodox jewish community.

Senior wellness servicesthe jfs senior wellness program provides a continuum of care that allows senior citizens to age in place. Services include geriatric psychiatric evaluations, in-home/general counseling, case management and caregiver support. The sequoia wellness program is the agency's socialization day program for aging adults and includes meals, exercise, discussion groups and special workshops in the arts.peace: a learned solution (pals)delivered in partnership with passaic county domestic and sexual violence services, pals is a research-based therapeutic program model conducted on-site at jfs to reduce the effects of trauma on children and their non-offending caregivers; the vast majority of program participants are of latin american descent. Through creative therapies, such as art, dance and drama, the pals program offers up to one year of grant-funded services to children ages 3-12 and non-offending family members that are exposed to domestic violence. Vocational services jfs offers job readiness training to any member of the community who wishes to gain skills that prepare them for entry into the workforce. Program participants work in the agency's food pantry to gain skills in communication, organization, workplace etiquette, technology and customer service. The impact cafe is a food truck business that serves as a training ground for people with disabilities, equipping them with the competitive skills needed to enter the job market, including continued employment at the impact cafe.case managementcase management services help high-risk families navigate the crisis of violence, poverty, tragedy or illness by connecting them with publicly available legal, financial, housing and medical resources. Jfs case managers also assist clients in obtaining health insurance through the get covered nj marketplace. Bilingual case management services are available in hebrew, spanish, russian and yiddish.food pantryclients facing food insecurity have access to the jfs food pantry, which is stocked with household goods and kosher food products. Any client in need can access the food pantry by making a confidential appointment with the pantry manager.
