Teaching:each year johns hopkins community physicians provides physicians and staff to support the teaching of residents, nursing students, nurse practitioner students and medical students. Jhcp provides practical clinical experience by precepting residents and students on location in one of jhcp's ambulatory locations. In addition, jhcp physicians provide services in the classroom, via lecture and on the inpatient units at jhm hospitals. In total, jhcp directly trains 138 medical students, 19 nursing students, and 91 residents, 44 pharmacy students/residents, 151 allied health students students including medical assistants, physician assistants, nurse midwives, and administrative students.
