JUSTICE FOR KURDS INC

During 2023, justice for kurds engaged in several direct charitable activities in line with its mission. The foundation's activities focus on educating the public and raising awareness on key issues related to the kurdish cause, politics, history, culture and societies in america and abroad. In june 2023, justice for kurds supported "kurdistan to america: stories of hope and sacrifice", an exhibition showcasing powerful photography exhibition by younes mohammad from duhok. The exhibition was on display in the mezzanine of the nashville metropolitan courthouse and in washington, at the u.s. Congressin the first floor foyer of the rayburn house office building. Mohammad is very prominent and has won awards internationally in france, germany, hungary, indonesia, iraq, italy, japan, russia, the u.k., and the u.s. Justice for kurds also supported a dance performance about empowering the story of women in iraqi kurdistan and the annual kurdish film festival.
