JW GARDNER II CAMP TRUST

The trust's exempt purpose is to operate a camp for youth. Gardner camp served an overall total of 850 youth and 456 adult mentors/chaperones with outdoor education/camp activities that included mentored youth hunting, youth shooting sports, and youth group outdoor education. We hosted a total of 94 events in 2023, and youth spent 78.9% of their program time outdoors at gardner camp. Mentored youth hunting activities were held in january and february as well as from september to december. A total of 103 youth and 85 adult mentors participated in waterfowl, dove, deer, or pheasant hunts. There were 25 mentored youth hunting events in total. Gardner camp added pheasant hunts to its mentored youth hunting program in 2023. Youth shooting sports events were held at gardner camp throughout 2023. These events included a safe venue for youth to gain knowledge and skills in archery, air rifles, wing-shooting, and trapping. A .22 rifle event was also held. Gardner camp served 246 youth and 149 a
