KATIE'S CAUSE INC

To date, efforts have focused on gaining the trust of sex-trafficking victims working in the red-light district of chiang mai, thailand. Going forward, katie's cause, inc. Will continue to provide counseling to sex- trafficking victims but will also teach vocational skills and how to develop their own businesses using local resources and their own creativity. Using a model and training provided by creative women of the world, a 501 (c)3 organization, katie's cause will reach out to women living in poverty whose daughters and families are vulnerable to sex-traffickers. These sex traffickers prey upon impoverished families, enticing them to alleviate their financial woes by selling their daughters into sex slavery. During 2020, 2021, and 2022, this activity was halted due to covid restrictions.
