Includes working with state agencies and legislative entities on implementing federal grants such as the Wildlife Crossings Pilot Project in Kentucky. Working with land and agricultural nonprofit coalitions such as the Ky. Woodland Owners Association on best practices for forestry. Partnering with land conservation coalitions such as the Ky. Lands Trust Alliance to advocate for more funding for conservation of wildlands and agricultural lands.

Voter engagement project- Civic nonpartisan engagement on the right to vote, voter registration, legislative process. Includes 4 presentations, 4 public education events, coalition work with 3 partners/allies to promote nonpartisan civic engagement and staff time. Partnering with civic action groups such as Our Climate, Climate Hawks, Rethink Energy Action, Kentucky Civic Engagement Table, all of whom are working on how to engage more citizens on nonpartisan civic action and build a stronger base of citizens engaged in voting rights, election protection, and voter registration.

Additional Program Expenses (part 3) Oil and gas research, misc. smaller campaign work on Toxics and Waste. Support for allied groups and communities to execute local action plans on energy infrastructure and monitoring toxics. Working with state agencies to monitor progress on capping abandoned oil and gas wells. Support for coalitions working to stop the encroachment of pipeline infrastructure on Bernheim Arboretum. Working with citizen groups such as Concerned Citizens of Martin County and Eastern KY Water Network to monitor progress on water infrastructure issues and cost of cleaning up polluted waterways. Expenses and Staff time.
