Program sustainability: the foundation is strategically building financial reserves and assets to ensure the long-term stability and growth of its news departments. Critically, these reserves are planned for use over the next three years to help cover staff salaries, thereby guaranteeing the continuity of quality journalism that strengthens our communities. Furthermore, the foundation maintains and invests resources to generate future income, ensuring dedicated funding streams for subsequent programming needs. Modernized technology:the foundation continued to raise and invest funds through the "amplifying oregon voices" campaign for critical infrastructure and technology upgrades. Maintaining a technologically advanced multimedia studio is crucial to equipping klcc to deliver exceptional service to oregonians via a variety of platforms including video. These capital campaign funds are held and invested at the foundation, with planned equipment and facility upgrades scheduled for use in 2026.
