The lions eye bank of lexington advances ophthalmic research and training to better servce the local, state, national and international community. Policies and procedures will follow the guidelines and regulations set forth by the eye bank association of america and the food & drug administration. The lions eye bank of lexington collaborates with the trust in the state of kentucky for the citizens of the commonwealth and promotes awareness for eye, tissue and organ donation.

$23KVisually impaired preschool services, inc. (vips) offers appropriate services to families of infants and toddlers with visual impairments to maximize each child's developmental potential through direct services, advocacy and community education. Vips is the only private, non-profit agency dedicated to meeting the needs of blind or visually impaired infants, toddlers and their families.

$5KLexington hearing & speech center, leader dogs for the blind and the independent transportation network, all support the prevention and cure of blindness through research, eye banks and eye clinics.
