$9KSupport the little free libraries stockton program: continue to fill the little free libraries throughout stockton with inclusive books that are culturally diverse from local authors throughout san joaquin county. To provide a variety of books that contain characters of color as well as main characters that represent a marginalized point of view with books that are written by an author of diversity or marginalized from their perspective. We provide books that share ideas, stories, and information about cultures, races, religions, languages, and traditions.sponsor the annual family day at the park event: this is a free one-day event with a full day of fun and educational activities for the entire community at weber point in stockton. Nearly 100 businesses and community organizations will provide interactive projects for children and families, including arts and crafts, games, storytelling, and recreational activities. Entertainers include mascots, street performers, sparkles the clown, and ravioli the magician. In addition, children's authors and illustrators will preside in king author's court throughout the day reading stories, teaching, signing books, and answering questions.

$3KSponsor the annual fully booked event: this is an annual fundraiser to support tuleburg press, an nonprofit that works to build literacy and writing confidence for all ages through book publishing, one-on-one mentoring, community outreach, and writing workshops.those activities occur at the write place, a downtown stockton creative writing and book arts center. Modeled after 826 valencia in san francisco, 916 ink in sacramento, and the san francisco center for the book, the write place teaches writing, bookbinding, and letterpress printing on vintage presses.writing groups and book clubs are able to use the space in the evenings. On weekends the write place hosts author readings and artists who teach paper making, book binding, and paper crafts of many kinds. Sponsor the great valley bookfest event: this is a fun-filled event where you can mingle with your favorite authors, discover new ones, or pick up that book you have been dying to read. This one-day event is free which includes a full day of author presentations, workshops, cooking demonstrations, a parade, and performances. The great valley bookfest is centrally located at the promenade shops at orchard valley (bass pro center) in manteca.
