$14KProvided tours to Greenmead Historical Park to all public school second graders. provided docents busses drivers snack and learning materials to all students at no cost to them or the school district. This is our fourth year doing thisl There were between 900 and 1,000 students who participated in the program.
Program 2
$8KSpearheaded the purchase and installation of a State of Michigan Historical Marker to commemorate the first public school in Livonia. The Society picked up the entire cost of the project Aproximately 600 people attended the ceremony.
Program 3
$750Sponsor a series of lectures and talks on topics of historical interest to the public. At least five talks are given each year with between 50 and 100 people in atten for each talk.
