The committee works to make others aware of the unmet needs of the poor for civil legal services, and can best assist by working toward solutions that can be realized im proper funding of legal services providers and increased participation by legal community.

In 2015, the louisiana bar foundation and the louisiana attorney disciplinary board entered into an agreement regarding the increase of pro hac vice fees. Funds generated by the fee increase are awarded to the lbf-funded legal services corporations for the provision of civil legal aid services to the indigent.
