MANASSEH'S CHILDREN

Manasseshs children-dba-ujamaa, is an american private operating foundation 501(c)3 which both funds and manages the africa international ngo's: ujamaa-africa (parent ngo in kenya), ujamaa pamodzi (partner ngo in malawi) and ujamaa somalia (partner ngo in somalia). Our mission is to end gender based violence (gbv) in east africa. We train and partner with the ministry of education, teachers service commission and local stakeholders to provide intensive training for girls, boys and young adults which equips them to: prevent rape, intervene successfully as bystanders to stop assaults and transform negative gender norms amongst the participants and local community into positive attitudes towards women and girls.
