Program 1
$183KTRANSPORTATION PROGRAM: Provides transportation via bus, van, and private auto for medical, social, nutritional, employment, and personal business. Many elderly clients are frail and require private auto escort and/or wheelchair-lift assistance to access Agency vans and buses. In 2024, the Agency provided 4,511 passenger trips of which 1,613 were for medical appointments (740 for frail elderly requiring private auto transport). The remaining rides were for nutrition, employment, education, and social/recreation.
Program 2
$121KLEGAL AND BENEFIT COUNSELING: Provides support to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's Disease and related dementia, including grants to affected individuals and families. Programs include Alzheimer's Family Caregiver Support, Outreach, Information and Assistance, Respite Care, and necessary supplies and services. In 2024, 27 clients received full or partial grants totaling $53,147 via Alzheimer's/Family Caregiver Support Programs. About 315 individuals were assisted with Homestead Tax, Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, SeniorCare, prescription medication, and consumer issues.

$17KHealth Promotion and Disease Prevention seminars for seniors. Donations from individuals, community organizations, local businesses applied to Agency programs and activities.
