The baucus institute's ireland comparative law program brings law students to the university county cork in ireland to study comparative international law. In 2024, 13 students traveled to ireland.

The baucus fellows are interns at the big barn dialogues inmontana, with a focus on us-china relations. In 2024, 4 baucus fellows participated.
