Program 1
We worked with the community and local governments to increase sidewalks, crosswalks, and multi-use trails throughout the region. We had greatly increased free fitness classes offered in underserved areas to 58 every week through our fitness warriors program. During the 2023-2024 school year, we supported 60 running and fitness clubs primarily in low-income schools across the region that impact nearly 3,000 kids.
Program 2
The sports backers provide residents of greater richmond with access to safe and affordable active living opportunities. As a result, our region is a healthier and more vibrant place to live, work and play.
