MIDLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The midland chamber of commerce sponsors the midland convention and visitors bureau's sports & entertainment association of midland. This program was established to promote and enhance sports and entertainment in the midland area by bringing in and supporting quality athletic and entertainment events for the purpose of enhancing economic impact in the midland area.

The midland chamber of commerce sponsors and hosts a program called young professionals of midland. This program is dedicated to service-related projects and the development of young professionals, ages 21 to 40, who live and work in midland, texas. Young professionals of midland is charged with providing an avenue for young professionals to develop professional and leadership skills, build a network with like-minded peers, establish roots in the community, and energize efforts that benefit and serve midland.

The midland chamber of commerce receives a management fee from the midland chamber of commerce foundation. The management fee is for the use of shared administrative resources including the time of the midland chamber staff, use of technology and other continual services provided by the chamber for the operations of the midland chamber of commerce foundation.
