Design enablement gatewayduring the period october 1, 2025 through november 14, 2025, natcast's efforts concentrated on its winddown efforts, initiated with the u.s. Department of commerce's august 25, 2025 letter. The design enablement gateway (deg) expenses include severance payments made to employees whose regular compensation, prior to termination associated with the wind down, had been allocated to the deg program.

Other programscertain expense categories show negative balances for the stub period due to the recognition of credits, refunds, or other adjustments related to costs previously accrued or paid in prior reporting periods. These adjustments were the result of vendor negotiations during final account close outs conducted as a part of natcast's wind-down activities.
