Integrated Rural Strategies Group (IRSG) elevates the importance of philanthropic support for organizing and power-building work with a racial justice lens in rural areas.

Across all of NFG's programs, we focus on lifting up community voices and place-based strategies. Our work in place builds and strengthens relationships between national grantmakers, local and regional funders, and community organizations for our long-term outcome: philanthropic assets are liberated so that BIPOC communities and low-income communities have power to self-determine.NFG's National Convenings are currently designed for staff and board members at foundations and grantmaking organizations whose primary activity is funding racial, gender, economic, disability, and climate justice.
