NEIGHBORHOOD PETS

The pet aid fund provides life saving emergency medical care for pets. This care is provided by partnering with full service veterinarian clinics.in 2024 125 pets were provided this life saving care. In addition, over 7,00 calls for help from pet owners were answered.

Food bank - np hosts a food bank available to all clients. In 2024, 52,541 pounds of pet food was distributed, feeding 5,137 pets. Community outreach - consists of coordinating various events throughout the year involving other community partners and social service organizations. These community building events aim to combat social isolation, and improve mental and physical health by providing activities and information. Temporary care - np provides temporary shelter, food or veterinary care for dog and cats while thier owner is experiencing homelessness.
