NEW ENGLAND BIOLABS FOUNDATION

Capacity-building of grantees - the new england biolabs foundation, in collaboration with partner institutions, conducts capacity-building programs that provide training and networking opportunities for its grantees in its target regions. In 2024, in partnership with creative action institute, these actvities included: one in-person, three-day workshop in guatemala for 19 grantees from guatemala, honduras, nicaragua, costa rica and peru; and one in-person, three-day workshop in peru for 21 grantees from peru, bolivia, ecuador and panama. These individuals also participated in a series of virtual training modules designed to complement the in-person workshops.in addition, 10 nebf grantees from these countries were provided with coaching and mini-grants to implement 10 creative advocacy practicums in communities in peru, guatemala, nicaragua, honduras and costa rica.
