Program 1
$520KNordic Competition consists of well-run events and races that NSAA hosts. Our Tour of Anchorage is the most popular, offering a 25K, 40K and 50K groomed course throughout Anchorage's trail system. It also includes the Anchorage Cup which is a series of races throughout the season that differs in distances and courses but challenges participants in both classic and skate disciplines. Other races in this grouping include: middle and high school races that NSAA officiates and grooms, as well as the SKAN24, a 24 hour race offered in the spring that challenges individuals and teams in a different way than other races.
Program 2
$462KRecreational Programs covers NSAA programs and events that give participants unique outdoor experiences. NSAA Backcountry tours, the Hope Hut, Ski for Kids, the annual NSAA Ski Train and the Alaska Ski For Women event are all designed to give our community fun Nordic opportunities, some involving costumes and entertainment, other giving users off-the-trail, backcountry experiences that all levels can participate in.
