NORTH EAST IOWA LOCAL WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD

The wioa dislocated worker program provides employment and training services to adults 18 years of age, or older, who have lost their jobs due to mass layoffs, plant closures, or economic shifts. The local area also provides supportive services that enable dislocated workers to engage in activities authorized under wioa. Northeast iowa local workforce development board served xxx dislocated workers during the year.

The ticket to work program connects persons age 16 to 64 that receive social security disability insurance or supplemental security income benefits to employment services including career counseling, vocational rehabilitation, and job placement and training.
