PIDS FOUNDATION

Meetid - this program is designed to acquaint premedical/medical students and residents with pediatric id through a program that is mentored, engaging, educational, and trainee focused. The program provides a broad overview of pediatric infectious diseases, career exploration in pid, support and resources needed to excel in science and medicine, and an opportunity to network with other trainees, faculty, and pids leadership.

The pids summer research scholars award (summers) promotes careers in pediatric infectious diseases by funding summer research projects, in pediatric infectious diseases broadly including basic science, translational, clinical, epidemiology, and quality improvement research of students, at various levels of training, from graduate/medical school to undergraduate.
