Over 18 thousand women, men and children are trafficked into the united states every year and los angeles is one of the primary destinations. Pwc supports individual labor trafficking survivors and their families in 15 states across the us with culturally and linguistically effective case management that addresses their needs around housing, food, clothing, safety, counseling, medical care legal services. Pwc also is supporting the development of a bigger network of community organizations who can support this population across the country.

Covid 19 response community outreachpilipino workers center of southern california (pwc) has launched an emergency response program in support of pilipino workers and their families, including food packages, hot meals, transportation financial assistance, health information, safety training for providers of care to the elderly, and other emergency assistance. Pwc has created an infrastructure of covid-19 related resources and assistance for pilipino workers through partners, the larger population of immigrant workers in los angeles and san diego counties, their family and friends and other community members.
