The objectives are: to initiate and promote dialogue, activities, and archives that increases excitement and knowledge about iowa heritage and genealogical, historical and bographical interest. To seek, acquire and assemble relics of historical interest relating to the expericence of early farming and life. To gather knowledge and items of interest from formal and informal sources, such as educational institutions and private interested citizens, that preserves history that otherwise may likely not be sustained.
