Patients were assisted by 21,842 from the Hospitality House program, 11,890 from the Cancer Care Fund and 250 from the Hearts of PCH. These funds provided patients who qualified with prescriptions upon their discharge, cab fare, gasoline, and lodging, if needed. In addition, the Neighborhood Investment Programs supplemental charity care provided 45,620 to assist patients.
