The ReWrite Our Story program supports improved livelihoods at our project communities in Madagascar and Tanzania through tree planting landscape restoration and forest conservation. Over the last year we delivered the following outcomes: RELIEVE POVERTY - Over 1600 days of work and income benefits were provided for villagers living in extreme poverty; RESTORE NATURE - An average of 5000 trees were planted every month at the two project locations we support in Africa REMOVE CARBON - 60000 mangroves or ficuses should remove around 1350 metric tons of CO2 during a typical maturation period.
