Additionally, the foundation will provide intensive technical assistance over three years to help implement the blended learning plans.

Using primarily social media, this communications campaign (teacherscan.org) encourages teachers to tell their stories of making a difference and allows others to chronicle interactions with teachers that have made a difference.

Raising texas teachers - a statewide initiative aimed at ensuring every student in texas has access to an effective teacher by elevating the status of the teaching profession, improving teacher preparation, and providing scholarships to aspiring teachers.

Advocacy and outreach - led by 13 regional advocacy directors, the program will contribute to the foundation's overall mission of supporting public education in texas by working to grow a pro-public education constituency across the state. These directors will work alongside educators, community members, families, and business leaders to help texans raise their voices regarding the importance of public education in their communities.
