Summer activities:our summer experiences were "city-focused". We planned a summer of city fun for those students who chose to participate in our summer activities. Our activities consisted of planned activities and events that exposed students to different aspects of the city, including the arts, culture, and government. We utilized volunteers to establish and facilitate activities like vacation bible schools, outings at public parks, and hosted different trainings designed to encourage students in the areas of financial and economic literacy. All program offered were at no cost to the participants.
