The child must be enrolled and served through the NC Pre-K program. The financial assistance is specifically for the NC Pre-K rate and does not cover any wrap-around care costs. Data on the children receiving this assistance will need to be reported as directed by the Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE)

5603: Program and Eval: Monitor each program to ensure programmatic and fiscal accountability and provides for the collection and reporting of data to ensure that the programs and the Partnership and meeting their expected goals and outcomes. The Partnership is accountable to the North Carolina Partnership for Children (Smart Start) and undergoes a biennial audit.

Group training and general resource sharing are available to all licensed childcare facilities in Richmond County.

5505: Circle of Parents; This is implemented to model fidelity for families to meet weekly for 36 weeks. This allows families to engage in shared leadership, and professional work and to build successful partnerships and shared responsibility. In addition, programs are offered for children that are staffed by trained, screened childcare workers

5526 - Families in Richmond County with children age 0-5 may register to receive a new book every month from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Parents will be encouraged to read to their child regularly promoting a successful future for their child.
