ROGER H STRAIT MEMORIAL FOUNDATION

The foundation continued its support of a church in arusha by supporting the construction a new, two-story, 5,400 square-foot building for training and equipping missionaries. At the end of the year all structural elements had been completed as well as doors and windows. Interior finishing was slated to commence. The foundation also provides direction to first responder outreaches (fro) and friendship english schools (fes), medical and educational programs, respectively, through mentoring and friendship. Foundation partner churches now run the day- to-day operations with the foundation providing follow-up support to local leaders as they lead within their communities. Foundation representatives focused on senior level leadership development during trips to the country. We have expanded our leadership development (ld) and mentoring relationships into kenya. The kenyan work involves one-on-one meetings, group trainings and outreaches to the local communities with our local partners.

With the continuing unrest in myanmar, the foundation provided support to missionaries and refugees who had worked with the foundation as they relocated to india as well as to relocating afghani christians.

The foundation continued its support of a missionary couple in armenia working with local people to heal ethnic divides. Additionally, the foundation provided funding for christian workers in the area to resettle.
