RURAL AMERICA PRESERVATION FOUNDATION

The foundation supports preserving, promoting and protecting for future generations the agrarian sportiing life focusing on the sport of mounted hunting with hounds and the art of horse drawn carriage driving. Activity involves use and maintenance of land as a habitat for fox, construction and maintenance of bridges, roads, dams and landscaping as a course for horse drawn carriage driving. Use of land for activities is provided at no cost to users but maintenance costs of property have been supported by foundation expenditures. Activty educates the public about the agrarian sporting life, by fostering and encouraging good relations between related organizations, including old dominion hound club, old dominion hound pony club and the piedmont driving club to promote and coordinate for hunts and driving shows and other activities to formulate education programs, clinics in the interest of fox hunting and carriage driving.
