SAN JOSE DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION

Downtown ice is a seasonal outdoor ice rink open from mid-november to mid-january located in the heart of downtown. The rink serves almost 40,000 skaters per season. The rink's total ice surface area is approximately 8,100 square feet. It consists of a 120-foot diameter circle plus a 12-foot wide outer circular track that is built beneath the iconic palm trees of the historic circle of palms plaza. Downtown ice aims to serve the community with an outdoor entertainment experience that compliments the winter and holiday season. Skaters of all ages and skill levels enjoy skating outdoors with their family and friends, making lifetime memories for years to come.
