Program 1
Neighborhood ambassadors (monthly/year-round)coordinate with shepherd's table and 26 neighborhood ambassadors to collect items (food staples, clothing, personal hygiene etc.) on a monthly basis. Ambassadors are given a new list every month, and they reach out to their communities, collect and deliver the items to shepherd's table.
Program 2
Casseroles for a cause (semi-annual - january and september - ssl hours available)reach out to the community to bake and freeze casseroles which are either picked up and delivered by us or directly delivered by the makers to shepherd's table. Shepherd's table keeps frozen casseroles on hand (we fundraised for the freezer a couple of years ago) and uses them on an as-needed basis.
Program 3
Galentine's bra drive (february)reach out to the community to donate bras and feminine hygiene products. We gather them at our office and deliver them to i support the girls.
Program 4
Warm clothing drive (october/november)reach out to the community to donate new and gently used warm clothing items (coats, hats, gloves etc.). We collect them at our office and deliver them to the ymca youth and family services linkages to learning community.
