$9KSetting up and running a community market two to three times per month that serves an area designated as a food desert. Where the market is set up is primarily a low income, residential area where many seniors live on fixed incomes and options for get to and from the store is limited.

$51KBringining fresh produce to the area we serve at prices that is affordable to our ebt-paying cusotmers. Through this increase access to healthy food we are helping out customers to improve thier quality of life and their standards of health. In 2023 we had $1024 in ebt sales
Program 3
Once a month we have a chef who volunteers at our markets. The chef prepares healthy dishes using the produce that is available for purchase at that day's market. This is a way for us to empower our customers to take charge of another aspect of the health and well being.
