East oakland collective:the east oakland collective (eoc) is a member-based community organization dedicated to advancing racial and economic equity in deep east oakland. Through civic engagement, leadership development, and economic empowerment, eoc uplifts underserved residents and fosters long-term community resilience. Its programs focus on workforce training and skills development for formerly incarcerated individuals, people in court-mandated programs, low-income residents, and communities of color. Eoc also strengthens financial literacy to promote economic empowerment and independence. By organizing leadership forums, listening sessions, civic engagement initiatives, and voter education, eoc advances racial equity and builds community power. In partnership with local organizations, elected officials, and the city of oakland, eoc engages in coalition building to amplify collective impact and systemic change. Through these efforts, the organization continues to invest in the people and neighborhoods of east oakland to create a more just, inclusive, and thriving community.

Sgf works to create jobs and increase employment subsistence farmers in rural africa by developing and supporting agricultural initiatives. Sgf currently works in rwanda, uganda, ghana, and nigeria. Sgf has also launched a charitable incubation hub--a one-stop-shop--in portland,or that allows community members to access fiscal sponsorship, learn, work, run trainings and workshops, and host fundraising events.
