Members benefits include access to online education, webinars, and subscription to shea's peer reviewed scientific journals infection control and hospital epidemiology (iche) and antimicrobial stewardship and healthcare epidemiology (ashe).

Journals: through a publishing contract with the cambridge university press, shea publishes two scientific journals, infection control and hospital epidemiology (iche) and antimicrobial stewardship and healthcare epidemiology (ashe). Iche and ashe both publish scientifically authoritative, clinically applicable, peer-reviewed research on prevention of healthcare associated infections and antimicrobial stewardship to evaluate and improve the delivery of patient care. Major topics covered include infection control practices, surveillance, antimicrobial stewardship, cost-benefit analyses, resource use, occupational health, and regulatory issues. Ashe is a gold open access journal, and iche is a hybrid open access journal.
