SOME SERIOUS BUSINESS

The organization produces cultural events, exhibitions, and performances for the public both new mexico and throughout the u.s.. In addition, its programssb awayprovides artists residencies and retreats in diverse locations including new mexico, italy, and hawaii. Ssb is also engaged in supporting research and design of a scholarly oral/social history of a cultural landmark of the east village in the early 80s, the pyramid cocktail lounge. During the fiscal year the organization hosted residencies for 6 arts, sponsored 2 premieres, contributed to one, and funded one musician/composer to attend the world of music, arts and dance to perform a concert. Total attendance of all events was approximately 820.
