Health Clinic Support Greater Greenwood United Ministry received ($30,000.00) for their clinic operations. In particular the funds will be used to support their pharmacy with the purchase of medications. The Bluffton Jasper Volunteers in Medicine Clinic of Ridgeland needed to expand its facilities to accommodate an increased demand for services. The amount requested in 2023 was $150k over 3 years. A second payment of ($50,000.00) was made to assist with the purchase of the building they were currently housed in, thus allowing the use vacant space for the clinic to expand.The Friendship Medical Clinic in Conway, SC received a grant of ($34,335.00). The clinic will use this grant to provide assistance with medical referral cost for procedures not performed at the clinic. A new medical grade pharmacy refrigerator was purchased. The pharmacy fee for their Dispensary of Hope subscription, and diabetic medical supplies were also covered. Operation Sight received a grant of ($17,505.00) to fund the purchase of office furniture and supplies, IT equipment, and operation room expenses for 34 surgeries.New Morning Foundation received funds ($30,000.00) to bring the following 3 rural clinic practices into the New Morning statewide contraception access program. The request is a match for $10,000 per practice from New Morning.
