Program 1
$1.7MThe Organization provided grant funding and support for the construction of a school bomb shelter, and a Senior Living Community to house and provide protection to Ukrainian families whose homes were destroyed due to the war. The Organization also provided food packages, therapy programs, and a playground for residents living in a previously constructed village. A total of 149 residents are house in the village and 16 residents are housed and taken care of in the Senior Living Community.
Program 2
$744KThe Organization PROVIDED EMERGENCY AID TO CITIZENS OF UKRAINE SUFFERING FROM WAR in a variety of ways. The aid included generators, food, safety equipment, and medical supplies to the people of Ukraine. In a Door Dash style, the Organization would deliver these to the elderly, disabled, and homebound when they were unable to get them. In 2024, the organization was able to make daily food deliveries to 21 households. During the tax year, the Organization served approximately 1,752,000 meals at hot meal centers to Ukraine residents who cannot afford or safely obtain meals otherwise.
Program 3
$106KThe Organization sponsored humanitarian trips to Ukraine for students, families, and individuals. During the tax year, 40 individuals participate in this program. Those attending these trips volunteered in many ways including making crafts for the military, hot meal distributions, construction of homes for displaced people, furniture assembly and landscaping for nursing homes, clean-up projects, moral support for IDPs, volunteered in hospitals, fundraised for modular homes to be built and provided to residents of Ukraine, distributed gifts for IDP families, and sewed and donated blankets for IDP families.
Program 4
$95KThe Organization Sponsored therapy for women and girls that survived and/or lost loved ones in the war. Through the Bridle Up Hope equestrian type therapy, 240 women and 120 teenagers were provided with therapy services in 2024.
Program 5
$85KThe Organization sponsored a Youth Respite Program where families in the United States housed Ukrainian students for a 20 week period. While in the U.S., youth got a break from the struggles of the war in their home country and got to explore and learn about United States culture.
