STARFISH ANIMAL RESCUE

we unfortunately lost one dog to diabetes this year, we currently have 10 dogs living at the shelter. These dogs were either rescued off the streets or from the euthanasia list at local kill shelters. All dogs in the shelter are given their vaccines and routine veterinary checks as needed and are available for adoption at any time. As we have

four senior dogs and one dog with congestive heart failure, we have had more regular veterinary services this year. The other 6 dogs are currently healthy 6-7 year old adult dogs. All of the dogs are provided with plenty of daily exercise through walks and interactive playtime each day. In addition to our long-term residents, we also

foster dogs from local shelters and help to find loving homes for them. And finally, in our facilities we are able to to take non-ambulatory dogs, who need isolation, and care for them until they are able to be returned safely back to the no kill shelter for adoption.
