$253KPromotion of Engineering Awareness - Student Engineers' Council promotes engineering awareness through a number of outreach events both on and off campus. Each semester, SEC hosts a camp exposing high school students to opportunities in engineering. Additionally, SEC holds a regional engineering competition and week-long engineering awareness event on-campus. Further, SEC is involved in a number of philanthropic activities.

$90KRepresentative Voice of Engineering Students - Student Engineers' Council promotes engineering awareness to both Texas A&M University and the Bryan/College Station area. In addition to conducting a bi-annual survey of student opinion presented to the college administration, SEC also contributes funding to a wide range of engineering-related student organizations on campus. Additionally, SEC promotes its events and represents Texas A&M at a regional and national conference of engineering councils
