TERAN JAMES YOUNG FOUNDATION

We support youth in the schools and have created under this foundation a shelter called hale pono. This shelter will directly aid youth who have temporarily lost their way and need temporary support. We will help them get back on a good path and hopefully prevent them ending up incarcerated. We work to eliminate the school to prison pipeline by working in schools and at our shelter to teach restorative skills as a further way of working for peace in our world. This helps the next generation of youth to learn life skills and direct their life in a meaningful, sustainable and positive direction.
