Texans for Lawsuit Reform Foundation

The Foundation conducts and supports non-partisan research and analysis on Texas's justice, economic, and regulatory systems. Research is carried out by independent scholars and qualified professionals with relevant experience and expertise. The Foundation has studied and published on topics including the cost of civil litigation, the structure of Texas's trial and appellate court system, sovereign immunity, the establishment of specialty courts such as a business-case court, judicial selection, liability issues related to the transportation and storage of carbon, the Texas civil jury system, prompt-payment laws, asbestos litigation, the economic impact of tort reform, the Texas anti-SLAPP statute, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
