$1.8MAwards, Membership, and Scholarships - Texas FFA works with various higher education and industry partners to provide competitive assessments, awards, degrees of membership and scholarships which support the agriculture, food and natural resources instructional program, provide incentives for student achievement and support members' post-secondary education goals. The FFA also provides experiential leadership experiences through opportunities for members to serve as elected members of the board of student officers and delegates to the National FFA Convention.

$231KConferences and Workshops - Texas FFA hosts various student conferences and workshops designed to support local chapters in their efforts to facilitate a hands-on leadership experiences through the development and execution of programs of activities which are annual strategic action plans to engage members and allocate resources. These workshops are also intended to foster personal development and prepare students for future leadership and citizenship roles and functions.

$224KSwine Validation - In partnership with the Texas Agrilife Extension Service, Texas FFA operates a livestock project ownership and possession verification program to support requirements common to all livestock shows. Texas FFA operates the swine portion of the overall state program, which is referred to as validation. Texas FFA receives from participating counties identifying information on each animal, including DNA samples and works with shows to address discrepancies.
