Program 1
$4.3MMembership servicesarc's member services program encompasses membership and membership events, arc clinical & wellness services, tay services, women's programming and ride home programming. The department consists of staff in the los angeles and sacramento offices working together to build and support innovative and evidence-based programs that integrate tenants of trauma-informed care, whole-person care, and mindfulness. With this holistic approach to care, arc can assist in removing barriers to care, increasing access to services, and reducing the divide between physical, emotional, and overall well-being.
Program 2
$3.7MHousingrc has a track record of providing effective transitional housing services for formerly incarcerated individuals, both adults and transitional-aged-youth returning home to los angeles county. Our transitional housing programs provide residents with on-site lifeskills programming, trauma counseling, education and employment guidance, and live-in mentors to promote independent living and wellness among residents. By providing these services, arc works to reduce recidivism and improve reentry outcomes among formerly incarcerated individuals returning home to los angeles county.
Program 3
$1.4MWorkforce and education our key vocational training initiative is our los angeles second chance apprenticeship readiness program, an 11-week cross-sector partnership between the los angeles unified school district (lausd) and the la/oc building trades. All program participants are paid livable wages during cohort training prior to being placed directly in union apprenticeships. We have served over 413 participants (adult and tay) thus far, with a 75% graduation rate and 82% placement rate of graduates. In the los angeles area, there is a need for skilled occupational credential programs, such as those in renewable energy.
