Support of texas a&m university - we are proud to support texas a&m students through activities, scholarships, academic support, programs, awards and career services. For example, the association of former students and texas a&m university jointly present the distinguished alumnus award, which is the highest honor bestowed upon a former student of texas a&m university. Each fall, the events team of the association of former students plans and executes a distinguished alumni gala to honor these award recipients. Our ring program is another way we support a&m. See schedule o.as the affiliate organization charged with the noble duty of managing the aggie ring program, we also have the honor of hosting aggie ring day, which has become one of the most anticipated traditions for students at texas a&m university. Also, our campus programs team works closely with students and student organizations, develops partnerships to promote students' endeavors and exposes current students to the association and the worldwide aggie network. A couple of the events held are howdy week gatherring and 1879 society ambassadors. These programs welcome the students to a&m as well as engage them, educate them, encourage and elevate them. To further support texas a&m university, the association of former students is pleased to host events throughout the year around the country as well as in our premier clayton w. Williams, jr. Alumni center. On home gamedays, we are pleased to offer our space for the aggie network tailgating experience, the premium tailgating opportunity for texas a&m football games.

Clayton w. Williams, jr. Alumni center - the aggie ring is one of our most well-known and easily recognized symbols of the aggie network. Students earn the aggie ring based on credit hours completed at texas a&m and may select the class year (within limitations) to appear on their aggie ring. Each qualified student can choose the finish for their ring and may opt to place a diamond in the shield. Otherwise, the aggie ring is exactly the same for every aggie other than the name engraved on the inside - which undoubtedly contributes to its global recognition. The association of former students manages the aggie ring program with orders taken throughout the year in our aggie ring office. Students receive their aggie rings during one of the association's aggie ring days, which draw thousands of aggie students, their families and friends together at the clayton w. Williams, jr. Alumni center for a celebration of this momentous milestone. In addition to serving current students in the ordering process, our aggie ring office also assists with resizing, repairs and replacements and facilitates reporting opportunities for those who have lost or found an aggie ring. Five aggie ring collections, located in the clayton w. Williams, jr. Alumni center, display numerous aggie rings dating back to 1890. The collections are a highlight attraction on the a&m campus and draw many visitors each year. In october 2009, the association of former students' board of directors formally established the aggie ring scholarship program. Through this special giving opportunity, former students and friends of texas a&m can help ensure that the aggie ring is available to every aggie who has earned the right to wear one. The aggie ring is one of the most recognizable pieces of jewelry in the world. One of the most meaningful and solemn events hosted by the association, aggie ring remembrance is a very special ceremony in which the family of aggie students who passed away while enrolled at texas a&m receive an aggie ring crest mounted on a bronze medallion remembering and honoring their child or spouse. This special ceremony is held at the williams alumni center prior to campus muster each year. Held at the end of the first day of new student conferences, howdy socials welcome incoming students and their families to the clayton w. Williams, jr. Alumni center, the aggie network and the broader bryan-college station community. Hosted by the association of former students prior to the beginning of each fall semester, howdy week gathering is designed to welcome new students to campus and provide them an opportunity to mingle with classmates while enjoying free food and drinks in a festive environment, along with their first on- campus yell practice of the year. Students are encouraged to try on an aggie ring with their class year, further building the anticipation of one day wearing their own ring. Hosted by the association of former students, this multi-day celebration honors students who are graduating each semester. The graduation celebration allows students to learn more about their role as former students as well as ways to stay connected through a&m clubs and constituent networks. It also provides an opportunity for students to make their century club donation to the association. This informal family event marks the official end of their time as a student and the beginning of their next phase of life as a former student of texas a&m university.the association of former students is pleased to host a variety of events throughout the year all over the country as well as in the premier clayton w. As a 501(c)(3) corporation, which leases the land on which our facility resides from the state of texas, the williams alumni center may only be used by the texas a&m university system, texas a&m university, recognized student organizations of texas a&m university and affiliates of the association of former students, including classes, a&m clubs and constituent networks. Our events team knows that an individual's first impression of the association of former students may be made in the first few minutes of attending an event held in the williams alumni center, regardless of whether the event is association-sponsored or is being held by an external group. Given the association's vision to be the premier alumni organization, our events team strives to ensure all events held in the williams alumni center, as well as all association-sponsored events, are premier, with no detail being overlooked. This important team oversees the entire planning process as well as coordinates the setup and tear-down of each event, guidance on the event choreography and all audio/video needs and works with the client to secure food and beverage needs with our exclusive caterers. On home football game saturdays, the williams alumni center becomes a hub of activity for the aggie network, as we deliver our brand promise to nurture bonds that can last a lifetime. Aggies and their families and friends can enjoy food and beverages, catch all the college games in progress on the huddleston video wall and take a keepsake photo on the haynes ring plaza starting three hours before every home game. We also feature a live broadcast from kyle field and a recording from a previous halftime show, featuring the fightin' texas aggie band, on the huddleston video wall for aggies who do not have a ticket to the game. Texas aggie magazine - the association provides annual donors to the association an annual subscription to the texas aggie magazine. This subscription is valued at $10 per year. The financial statements reflect subscription revenue based on the number of active annual fund donors at $10 each. Subscription revenue is recognized over time when an issue is published and provided to the donor. There are no accounts receivable for subscriptions at december 31, 2024 and 2023. At december 31, 2024 and 2023, deferred revenue of $78,337 and $97,892 was recorded for subscriptions to be earned in 2024 and 2023 and $489,575 and $581,475 was recognized as subscription revenue earned during 2024 and 2023, respectively.
